Description

A healthy and tasty twist on traditional pizza, made with a crust of broccoli, cheese, and almond flour.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Steam the broccoli florets until tender (about 5 minutes), then let them cool.
  3. Pulse the cooled broccoli in a food processor until finely chopped but not pureed.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped broccoli with mozzarella, Parmesan, almond flour, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well incorporated.
  5. Spread the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet in the shape of a pizza crust.
  6. Bake for about 15-20 minutes until golden and firm to the touch.
  7. Remove from the oven, sprinkle on your favorite toppings, and return to bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

For variations, try adding olives and feta for a Mediterranean twist or turkey bacon for a meaty option.
