Description

A healthier reimagining of the classic chicken parmesan, featuring crispy chicken breasts topped with marinara sauce and melted mozzarella, all cooked in the air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix together breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring they are well-coated.
  4. Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket and spray lightly with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and crispy.
  6. Top each chicken breast with marinara sauce and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  7. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy your healthy meal!

Notes
