Description

Delightful Easter M&M cookies that are soft, chewy, and bursting with colorful candy, perfect for spring celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 cups Easter M&Ms (or regular M&Ms)
  • Extra M&Ms for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the pure vanilla extract.
  6. Mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  7. Fold in the M&Ms, reserving some for topping.
  8. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  9. Top each cookie ball with extra M&Ms.
  10. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
  11. Remove from the oven and let cool before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Dough can be prepared up to 3 days in advance and stored in the refrigerator. For gluten-free options, substitute with a gluten-free flour blend.
