Description

A comforting and healthy weeknight dish featuring tender chicken, crunchy cabbage, and vibrant carrots, reminiscent of classic egg rolls but made easier.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 4 cups cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup carrots, shredded
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: sesame seeds, sriracha, or cilantro

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat and add minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
  2. Add diced chicken to the pan, stirring frequently until browned and cooked through.
  3. Stir in shredded cabbage and carrots, cooking until tender and vibrant.
  4. Pour in soy sauce and add salt and pepper; taste and adjust seasoning as desired.
  5. Remove from heat and top with green onions and optional toppings.
  6. Serve warm in bowls and enjoy!
