Description

Tender chicken breasts stuffed with a creamy mushroom mixture, baked to perfection for a comforting and gourmet experience.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups mushrooms, diced
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
  3. Add the diced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until tender.
  4. Combine the cooked mushrooms with softened cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, thyme, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  5. Cut a pocket into each chicken breast without slicing all the way through.
  6. Stuff each pocket with the creamy mushroom filling.
  7. Secure the opening with toothpicks if needed.
  8. Sear the stuffed chicken breasts in a skillet with olive oil until golden brown on both sides.
  9. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
  10. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
