Description
A delightfully indulgent giant cookie pie that’s perfect for sharing with family and friends.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups mixed candy (like chocolate chips, M&Ms, or chopped candies)
- 1/2 cup nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a pie plate to prevent sticking.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl, setting it aside for later.
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in another large bowl until it’s smooth and fluffy.
- Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs, mixing until everything is well combined and creamy.
- Blend in the dry ingredients gradually, stirring gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix!
- Fold in the mixed candy and nuts (if using), allowing each bite to have a delightful surprise.
- Spread the dough evenly in the prepared pie plate, smoothing the top for that perfect finish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean—a sign of cookie perfection!
- Let it cool slightly before slicing into those gooey, tender pieces of heaven. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Can substitute half of the butter with unsweetened applesauce for a healthier version. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
