- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup mayonnaise (or plain Greek yogurt for lighter version)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: ½ teaspoon paprika or Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness of about ¾ inch.
- In a medium bowl, mix mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt), Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Spread the creamy mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast.
- Place the coated chicken in the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with paprika or Italian seasoning.
- Bake uncovered for 35–45 minutes, or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Allow the chicken to rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Make the chicken and topping in advance and store separately until ready to bake. The dish can last up to 3 days in the fridge.
