- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup pecan pie filling
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Spread the pecan pie filling evenly across the bottom of the dish.
- Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the pecan pie filling.
- Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
- Scatter the chopped pecans over the top.
- Pour the water evenly over the mixture.
- Important: Do not stir!
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
