Description

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Mix the warm water and sugar in a large bowl.
  2. Sprinkle the yeast on top and let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  3. Add in the flour, salt, and olive oil, and stir until a soft dough forms.
  4. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm spot for 30 minutes.
  6. Roll out the risen dough on a floured surface and top with your favorite ingredients.
