Description

Delicious roasted cabbage steaks that are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, perfect for a healthy weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 head of cabbage
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: garlic powder, paprika, parmesan cheese (or nutritional yeast for a vegan option)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage and slice it into thick steaks (about 1-inch thick).
  3. Brush both sides of the cabbage steaks with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Optional: Sprinkle with additional toppings before serving.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
