Description

A warm and hearty weeknight dinner made with smoked sausage and tender cabbage, ready in under 30 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 4 cups green cabbage, chopped
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned and golden.
  3. Toss in the sliced onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in the chopped cabbage, seasoning with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
  5. Cook until the cabbage is tender but still crisp, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!
