- 4 cups green cabbage, chopped
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced (mixed colors)
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Slice the sausage into bite-sized pieces.
- Chop the cabbage into thin strips and dice the bell peppers and onion.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add sesame oil. Once hot, add the sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Add the diced onions and minced garlic; sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Incorporate the chopped cabbage and sliced bell peppers; stir-fry until tender yet crisp.
- Pour in the soy sauce and sprinkle in red pepper flakes; mix well and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary before serving.
