Description

A comforting slow-cooked chicken dish with a rich, creamy ranch sauce that’s family-friendly and perfect for meal prep.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet dry ranch seasoning mix (1 oz)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional, for searing)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the chicken breasts for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown (optional).
  2. Whisk together the cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper in your slow cooker to create a creamy sauce.
  3. Add the chicken breasts to the sauce, turning to coat them fully.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
  5. Shred the chicken with two forks directly in the slow cooker.
  6. Stir in the sour cream until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  7. Serve hot over rice, potatoes, or noodles, garnished with shredded cheddar cheese and fresh parsley if desired.

Notes
