Description

Deliciously crispy chicken tenders made in the air fryer for a family-friendly meal that’s quick and healthy.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken breast tenders
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Cooking spray or oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Set up a breading station: In one bowl, place the flour; in the second bowl, beat the eggs; and in the third bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dredge each chicken tender first in the flour, ensuring it’s fully coated, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place the breaded chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not crowded, and spray lightly with cooking spray.
  5. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are beautifully golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce for the ultimate cozy meal!

Notes

Make-ahead option available. Leftover chicken tenders can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated in the air fryer.
