Description

Tender pieces of chicken wrapped in crispy turkey bacon and coated in a sweet and spicy glaze, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a delightful party appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 pound turkey bacon, cut in half
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix together the brown sugar, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper until well combined in a bowl.
  3. Take each piece of chicken and wrap it with a half slice of turkey bacon, securing it with a toothpick if necessary.
  4. Roll each bacon-wrapped chicken piece in the brown sugar mixture to coat them evenly, creating a tempting glaze.
  5. Place the coated chicken bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them out for even cooking.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Make-ahead magic: Prepare the chicken bites up to a day in advance. Store in the refrigerator and bake just before serving.
