- 1 cooked chicken breast
- 1/3 cup BBQ sauce (plus 2 tablespoons for the chicken)
- 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ½ red onion, thinly sliced
- ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, for brushing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475°F.
- Roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness on a floured surface.
- Transfer the rolled dough to a greased pizza pan or baking sheet.
- Brush the edges with olive oil.
- Shred or chop the cooked chicken and toss with 2 tablespoons of BBQ sauce.
- Spread the remaining BBQ sauce over the pizza dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
- Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Distribute the BBQ chicken and sliced onions over the cheese.
- Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Sprinkle fresh cilantro over the hot pizza before serving.
