Description

A classic BLT sandwich with crispy turkey bacon, fresh lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and creamy avocado, perfect for quick meals.


Ingredients

  • 4 slices of toasted bread (your choice—white, whole wheat, or sourdough)
  • 4 strips of crispy turkey bacon
  • 1 cup of fresh lettuce leaves (romaine or butter lettuce)
  • 1 large ripe tomato, sliced
  • 1 medium avocado, sliced
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Once done, remove it from the skillet and let it drain on paper towels.
  2. While the bacon is cooking, toast the bread slices until golden brown.
  3. Once the bread is toasted, spread a layer of mayonnaise on one side of each slice.
  4. On one slice of bread, layer the crispy turkey bacon, followed by the fresh lettuce, sliced tomato, and creamy avocado.
  5. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the layers to enhance their flavors.
  6. Cap off your sandwich with the second slice of bread, mayonnaise side down.
  7. Slice the sandwich in half and serve immediately while still warm.
