Description

Warm, melty sandwiches loaded with tender roast beef, caramelized onions, and provolone cheese, perfect for dinner or parties.


Ingredients

  • Deli roast beef
  • Caramelized onions
  • Provolone cheese
  • King’s Hawaiian rolls
  • Au jus (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the King’s Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  3. Layer the deli roast beef evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls.
  4. Add the caramelized onions on top of the beef.
  5. Place slices of provolone cheese over the onions.
  6. Cover everything with the top halves of the rolls.
  7. Brush melted butter over the top of the rolls (optional).
  8. Bake for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and everything is heated through.
  9. Serve warm with au jus on the side for dipping. Enjoy!

Notes

You can prepare the caramelized onions a day in advance. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
