Quick and delicious teriyaki steak bites with green pepper and onion, perfect for an easy weeknight dinner.

- 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Add the steak pieces, making sure every bit is coated, and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the marinated steak bites in a single layer. Cook undisturbed until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Once browned, gently add in the sliced bell pepper and onion. Stir-fry for an additional 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet for the best flavor.
