- 1 ripe cantaloupe
- 4 cups water
- 1/4 cup sugar (optional)
- Juice of 1 lime
- Mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Cut the cantaloupe in half, remove the seeds, and scoop out the flesh.
- In a blender, combine the cantaloupe flesh, sugar (if using), and lime juice. Blend until smooth.
- Pour in 2 cups of water and blend again until well combined.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher, discarding the pulp.
- Add the remaining 2 cups of water and stir gently.
- Chill in the refrigerator or serve immediately over ice.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves before serving.
