Delicious and comforting Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars, perfect for fall gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups chopped apples (such as Granny Smith)
- 1 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan to prevent sticking.
- Combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form a crust.
- Beat the cream cheese in a large bowl until smooth and creamy. Gradually add in 1 cup sugar and vanilla extract, mixing well until fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing until just combined after each addition to ensure a light texture.
- Fold in the chopped apples, creating pockets of fruity goodness in your cheesecake mixture.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the baking pan, spreading it evenly.
- Drizzle caramel sauce on top and swirl it with a knife, creating patterns.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set and the edges are slightly golden.
- Allow to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before cutting into bars.
