Description

Delicious and comforting Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars, perfect for fall gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups chopped apples (such as Granny Smith)
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan to prevent sticking.
  2. Combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form a crust.
  3. Beat the cream cheese in a large bowl until smooth and creamy. Gradually add in 1 cup sugar and vanilla extract, mixing well until fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing until just combined after each addition to ensure a light texture.
  5. Fold in the chopped apples, creating pockets of fruity goodness in your cheesecake mixture.
  6. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the baking pan, spreading it evenly.
  7. Drizzle caramel sauce on top and swirl it with a knife, creating patterns.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set and the edges are slightly golden.
  9. Allow to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before cutting into bars.

Notes

These bars can be made a day in advance and stored in the fridge. For clean cuts, use a sharp knife dipped in warm water.
