- 2 lbs potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded gruyere cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with butter, ensuring it’s well-coated to prevent any sticking.
- Mix together the heavy cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Whisk until well combined and smooth.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the baking dish. Pour half of the cream mixture evenly over the potatoes, letting it soak in. Then sprinkle with half of the cheddar, gruyere, and mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, cream mixture, and cheeses.
- Top with the grated parmesan cheese for that irresistible golden crust.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few moments before serving.

Make ahead by assembling the dish a day prior and refrigerating. Reheat in the oven for best results.
