Description

A warm and rich chocolate dessert with a delightful gooey center that’s perfect for any chocolate lover.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
  2. Mix together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. Stir in the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips, allowing them to create delicious pockets of molten chocolate.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, smoothing out the top with a spatula.
  6. Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the top of the batter.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still gloriously gooey.
  8. Cool slightly before cutting into squares and diving in!

Notes

You can prepare the batter a day in advance and bake it fresh just before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or refrigerate for up to a week.
