- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
- Mix together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- Stir in the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Fold in the chocolate chips, allowing them to create delicious pockets of molten chocolate.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, smoothing out the top with a spatula.
- Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the top of the batter.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still gloriously gooey.
- Cool slightly before cutting into squares and diving in!
Notes
You can prepare the batter a day in advance and bake it fresh just before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or refrigerate for up to a week.
