Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together the granulated sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt until well blended.
  2. Slowly whisk in the milk and heavy cream, ensuring everything combines smoothly without any lumps.
  3. Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens and begins to bubble.
  4. Once thickened, remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the chocolate pudding mixture into the pre-made pie crust, using a spatula to smooth the top.
  6. Refrigerate the pie for at least 240 minutes or until the pudding is fully set.

Notes
