Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb white fish (such as cod or tilapia)
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Combine the cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl to create a spice mix.
  3. Rub the spice mixture generously on both sides of the fish, allowing the flavors to soak in.
  4. Grill or pan-fry the fish for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through and flaky.
  5. Warm the tortillas on the grill or in a separate pan.
  6. Assemble each taco by layering the fish, shredded cabbage, avocado slices, and fish taco sauce.
  7. Serve with lime wedges and garnish with fresh cilantro.

Notes

Customize your tacos with spicy mango salsa, creamy chipotle sauce, pickled red onions, or cheesy garlic sauce.
