Description

A comforting chicken pasta casserole baked with a creamy mixture and topped with cheese, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked pasta (penne, rotini, or elbows)
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the cooked pasta, shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, and if desired, add breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until heated through and bubbly.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

This casserole can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator until ready to bake. Great with a side salad or bread!
