Description

A rich and creamy pasta salad filled with fresh peas and crumbled bacon, perfect for gatherings or weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (your choice)
  • 1 cup green peas (fresh or frozen)
  • 6 slices of turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and let cool.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, peas, and crumbled turkey bacon.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard until well blended.
  4. Pour the creamy dressing over the pasta mixture and toss gently to coat every morsel.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting to your preference.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
