Description

Delightful crispy feta rolls wrapped in flaky phyllo dough, perfect for gatherings and cozy nights.


Ingredients

  • 8 sheets of phyllo dough
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs (like parsley or dill)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons chili sauce (or chili flakes)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the feta, ricotta, chopped herbs, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Lay one sheet of phyllo dough on a clean surface and brush it with melted butter. Place another sheet on top and repeat the buttering process.
  4. Cut the layered phyllo into strips.
  5. Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture at one end of each strip and roll it up, sealing the edges with butter.
  6. Arrange the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy.
  8. Mix the honey and chili sauce for a drizzle.
  9. Drizzle the sweet & spicy chili honey over the rolls before serving.

Notes

Assemble the rolls ahead of time and freeze them before baking. Bake straight from the freezer for a few extra minutes.
