Description

A creamy, tender chicken dish made effortlessly in the slow cooker, perfect for cozy weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet Italian dressing mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 8 oz angel hair pasta
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in a slow cooker.
  2. Mix the cream of chicken soup and Italian dressing mix until smooth, then pour over the chicken.
  3. Cut the cream cheese into small pieces and place on top of the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for about 6-8 hours.
  5. Cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions about 20 minutes before serving.
  6. Shred the chicken and mix with the sauce until fully combined.
  7. Serve the chicken mixture over the cooked pasta and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For a zesty flavor, add a splash of lemon juice or toss in some sautéed mushrooms for an earthy touch.
