Ingredients

  • 1 package cheddar pierogies (frozen)
  • 1 lb smoky kielbasa, sliced
  • 2 cups creamy chicken broth
  • 1 cup melted cheddar cheese
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In your slow cooker, begin by adding a layer of frozen cheddar pierogies.
  2. Sprinkle the sliced smoky kielbasa over the pierogies.
  3. Gently pour the creamy chicken broth over the pierogies and kielbasa.
  4. Top it off with a generous layer of melted cheddar cheese.
  5. Cover the slow cooker, set it to low, and let it cook for 360 minutes.
  6. Once cooked, scoop the casserole into bowls, garnish with the chopped green onions, and serve warm.

Notes

Make-ahead dinner, can substitute smoky kielbasa with turkey kielbasa or chicken sausage. Leftovers can be stored for up to 3 days.
