Description

A warm, comforting dessert made with canned peaches and a buttery golden crust. Perfect for family gatherings or a cozy night in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of peaches, drained
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt, stirring until smooth.
  3. Stir in the milk and melted butter until just combined; don’t overmix.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Spoon the drained canned peaches over the batter evenly, being careful not to stir.
  6. Add the vanilla extract, letting that sweetness seep into the cobbler.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Serve warm, optionally topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Mix in berries or sprinkle with cinnamon sugar for variations. Store leftovers in the fridge for 3-5 days.
