Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package potato gnocchi
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste

- Add the beef broth to the skillet and bring to a gentle simmer, letting the flavors meld for a few minutes.
- Cook the potato gnocchi according to the package instructions. Drain and add it to the skillet with the onion and broth mixture.
- Stir gently to combine and let it simmer for a few more minutes, allowing the gnocchi to absorb the broth flavor.
- Preheat your oven’s broiler to high.
- Transfer the gnocchi and onion mixture to an oven-safe dish. Sprinkle the grated Gruyere cheese on top.
- Broil for a few minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
