Description

Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Butter for greasing the baking dish
  • Powdered sugar for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly butter a medium-sized baking dish (about 8×8 inches).
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gently whisk in the flour and salt until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Fold in the quartered strawberries, letting their sweetness shine.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  7. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.
  9. Slice into wedges and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes
