Description

A cozy twist on a classic grilled cheese sandwich featuring garlic bread and melting cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of garlic bread
  • 2 slices of cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • Butter (for grilling)
  • Optional: herbs or spices (like oregano, thyme, or red pepper flakes)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of garlic bread.
  3. Place one slice of garlic bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
  4. Add the slices of cheese on top of the garlic bread in the skillet.
  5. Top with the second slice of garlic bread, buttered side up.
  6. Grill for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, then flip and grill the other side until the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from the skillet, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Make-ahead advice: Prepare garlic bread ahead of time and keep it in the fridge. Just assemble and grill when ready to eat! Experiment with different cheeses and bread.
