Ingredients

- 2 slices of garlic bread
- 2 slices of cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- Butter (for grilling)
- Optional: herbs or spices (like oregano, thyme, or red pepper flakes)
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of garlic bread.
- Place one slice of garlic bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
- Add the slices of cheese on top of the garlic bread in the skillet.
- Top with the second slice of garlic bread, buttered side up.
- Grill for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, then flip and grill the other side until the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the skillet, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
Make-ahead advice: Prepare garlic bread ahead of time and keep it in the fridge. Just assemble and grill when ready to eat! Experiment with different cheeses and bread.
