Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 onion, chopped

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper, cooking until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  4. Layer the sliced potatoes evenly at the bottom of a greased baking dish, followed by the savory beef mixture.
  5. Spread sour cream over the top, then sprinkle generously with shredded cheese.
  6. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and continue baking for another 15 minutes until the potatoes are tender and cheese is golden.
  8. Cool for a few minutes before serving.
