- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, sage, paprika, and red pepper flakes. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Gently place the patties in the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they’re browned and cooked through.
Notes
Make-ahead advice: Prepare the sausage mixture a day in advance and store it in the refrigerator. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days or frozen for later use.
