Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy and smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, allowing each to mix fully. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Gradually blend the dry mix into the creamed mixture until just combined.
  6. Stir in the rolled oats, shredded coconut, chopped pecans, and chocolate chips.
  7. Drop generous spoonfuls of the dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden brown and centers are tender.
  9. Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
