Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy and smooth.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, allowing each to mix fully. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
- Gradually blend the dry mix into the creamed mixture until just combined.
- Stir in the rolled oats, shredded coconut, chopped pecans, and chocolate chips.
- Drop generous spoonfuls of the dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden brown and centers are tender.
- Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
