  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl until well combined.
  3. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract and sour cream.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Combine brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and walnuts in another bowl to make the crumb topping.
  7. Pour the cake batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle the crumb mixture generously on top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool before serving.
