Ingredients

- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Optional: 1 cup mix-ins (e.g., chocolate chips, chopped nuts, or fresh fruit)
Instructions
- Combine the heavy cream and whole milk in a large mixing bowl until well blended.
- Sweeten the mixture by gradually adding the granulated sugar, stirring until dissolved.
- Pour in the vanilla extract and sprinkle in the salt. Stir until combined.
- Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for at least 1-2 hours.
- Pour the chilled mixture into your ice cream maker and churn until soft-serve consistency, about 20-25 minutes.
- Transfer to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm enough to scoop.
- Scoop into bowls or cones and enjoy with your favorite toppings or mix-ins!
Notes
This ice cream can be made up to a week in advance. Store tightly covered to prevent ice crystals.
