- 8 ounces elbow macaroni
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Combine the elbow macaroni, water, and butter in a large pot. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Reduce the heat to medium and cook for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente.
- Lower the heat to low and stir in the milk, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Continue to cook, stirring regularly, until the cheese is melted and the mixture is creamy.
