- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup cooked turkey bacon, crumbled
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; once done, drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, seasoning it with salt, pepper, and minced garlic. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the marinara sauce and crumbled turkey bacon.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese with Italian seasoning.
- In a baking dish, layer meat sauce, noodles, ricotta mixture, mozzarella, and Parmesan. Repeat layers, finishing with sauce and mozzarella on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Make ahead for convenience. Let cool before slicing for better presentation. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for 3 days.
