Ingredients

- 1 lb steak (thinly sliced)
- 1 green bell pepper (sliced)
- 1 onion (sliced)
- 8 oz mushrooms (sliced)
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cups shredded cheese (Provolone or Cheddar)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: garlic powder or any preferred seasoning
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced steak and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the sliced onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms to the skillet, mixing in those lovely colors.
- Sauté the vegetables until they are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the broccoli and cook until it’s heated through.
- Season with salt, pepper, and any additional spices as desired; give it a good stir to blend those flavors.
- Top with shredded cheese, cover the skillet, and let it melt for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
This stir-fry reheats wonderfully! Store leftovers in an airtight container and enjoy them for lunch the next day.
