  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl until well combined.
  3. Mix the buttermilk, melted butter, egg, red food coloring, and vanilla extract together in another bowl until smooth.
  4. Combine the dry and wet ingredients by pouring the wet mixture into the dry mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
  6. Spread melted butter over the dough, then sprinkle it generously with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Roll the dough tightly into a log, then cut it into rolls, about 1 inch thick.
  8. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until puffed and golden.
  9. Prepare the cream cheese glaze by mixing the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth.
