Description

This Samoa Pie is a luscious blend of rich chocolate, creamy caramel, and toasty coconut, perfect for cozy gatherings and sweet nostalgia.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a pie pan.
  2. Mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cream the softened butter and brown sugar together until fluffy and light in color in another bowl.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, mixing until everything is well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, folding gently until just combined. Don’t overmix!
  6. Press the cookie dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared pie pan.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is set and slightly firm to the touch.
  8. Allow the pie to cool completely before layering on the toppings—start with a generous drizzle of caramel sauce, then sprinkle the shredded coconut and chocolate chips evenly over the top.
  9. If you like, drizzle some extra caramel sauce on top for added indulgence.
  10. Slice into wedges, serve, and watch the smiles spread across faces!
