- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a pie pan.
- Mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream the softened butter and brown sugar together until fluffy and light in color in another bowl.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, mixing until everything is well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, folding gently until just combined. Don’t overmix!
- Press the cookie dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared pie pan.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is set and slightly firm to the touch.
