- 1 cup milk

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the sliced peaches, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice in a mixing bowl. Set aside to macerate.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Then add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract, stirring until well combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly to create a delicious base.
- Spoon the peach mixture on top of the batter, ensuring it’s distributed evenly across the surface.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm with vanilla ice cream!
Notes
You can prepare the peach mixture a day in advance. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
