Description

A refreshing spiked cherry limeade bursting with sweet-tart flavors, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cherries (plus more for garnish)
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup (or more to taste)
  • 2 cups sparkling water (or soda water)
  • Optional: splash of your favorite non-alcoholic spirit or ginger ale
  • Ice cubes for serving
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cherries: If using fresh cherries, wash and pit them. If using frozen cherries, let them thaw for a few minutes.
  2. Combine the ingredients: In a blender, combine cherries, lime juice, and simple syrup. Blend until smooth.
  3. Strain the mixture: Use a fine-mesh sieve to strain the blended mixture into a large pitcher.
  4. Add sparkle: Pour in the sparkling water and stir gently.
  5. Serve over ice: Fill glasses with ice and pour the spiked cherry limeade over the top.
  6. Garnish and enjoy: Top with fresh cherries and a mint leaf for presentation.

Notes

For a mocktail version, simply omit the alcohol and enjoy the refreshing mix!
