Description

A delightful, no-bake Strawberry Shortcake Dessert made with layers of soft pound cake, creamy filling, and fresh strawberries, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 package (16 oz) pound cake, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine the sliced strawberries and granulated sugar in a bowl. Let them sit for about 30 minutes to macerate.
  2. Beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add whipped topping, milk, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  3. Layer half of the pound cake cubes at the bottom of a serving dish.
  4. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the cake, then add half of the strawberries.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining pound cake, cream cheese mixture, and strawberries.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 120 minutes before serving.

Notes

This dessert can be made a day ahead for better flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
