A delightful, no-bake Strawberry Shortcake Dessert made with layers of soft pound cake, creamy filling, and fresh strawberries, perfect for summer gatherings.

- 1 pound fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 1 package (16 oz) pound cake, cut into cubes
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Combine the sliced strawberries and granulated sugar in a bowl. Let them sit for about 30 minutes to macerate.
- Beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add whipped topping, milk, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Layer half of the pound cake cubes at the bottom of a serving dish.
- Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the cake, then add half of the strawberries.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining pound cake, cream cheese mixture, and strawberries.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 120 minutes before serving.
Notes
This dessert can be made a day ahead for better flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
