Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
- Add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients gradually, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate batter, caramel pieces, pecans, and chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a nut-free option, substitute pecans with sunflower seeds. These cookies freeze well for later enjoyment.
